Journeyman Electrician

About the role

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various industrial and commercial settings. This includes troubleshooting electrical issues, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
• Perform routine and emergency electrical repairs
• Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Document work performed and report findings to supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid State of Iowa Electrician’s License
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in OSHA standards and safety practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical theory and wiring methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Experience with common electrical tools and equipment
