Journeyman Electrician
About the role
We are hiring qualified Journeyman Electricians to support electrical construction activities on the Samsung Semiconductor project in Taylor, Texas. Candidates must be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in industrial or large commercial environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test electrical systems in accordance with project specifications and NEC
- Perform work including:
- Conduit installation (EMT, RMC, PVC)
- Cable tray installation
- Wire pulling and terminations
- Equipment installation and grounding/bonding
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and layouts
- Follow all site safety rules and participate in daily safety meetings
- Clock in and out using the company’s time tracking system
- Coordinate work with foremen, superintendents, and other trades
- Maintain quality workmanship and productivity standards
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician experience (industrial or large commercial preferred)
- Must be able to provide a valid Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) number upon acceptance
- Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical installation standards
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
- OSHA 10 required
- Reliable transportation and ability to work extended hours as required
- Experience on semiconductor, industrial, or data center projects
- Experience working in cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environments
- Lift, scissor lift, and/or boom lift certifications
