Journeyman Electric Lineworker - New Prague

About the role

The primary function of the position is to safely perform skilled electrical line work in the construction, operation, maintenance and repair of the overhead and underground electrical distribution system.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled electrical line work in the construction, operation, maintenance and repair of the overhead and underground electrical distribution system.
• Respond to the NPU office within 30 minutes of call-out or be willing to relocate.
• Possess a valid Minnesota Class ("A") CDL with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an electrical lineworker vocational training program.
• Completed four (4) years of an accredited Apprenticeship program.
• Certification and experience as a journey level lineworker or hold a MN journeyman card.
• Consideration may be given to a 3rd or 4th year apprentice.

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota Class ("A") CDL with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment.
