Journeyman Carpenter

About the role

Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a skilled Carpenter for full-time commercial construction projects across the United States. The ideal candidate must be proficient in various carpentry tasks such as partition framing, installation of basic cabinetry and countertops, and door/window installation. They should also have basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Commercial renovations/buildouts
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements
• Presentable and able to communicate with customers to build relationships
• Detailed in repairs, including measurements, pictures, recommendations, and quotes
• Able to work overtime and/or on-call as needed
• Willing and able to travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States

Requirements

• Supply basic construction hand tools
• OSHA 30hr certification or completion within 3 months of employment (paid by employer)
