Journeyman Carpenter

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements. - Measure, cut, shape, and install materials including wood, metal, and wallboard. - Build and install frames, doors, windows, staircases, and custom structures. - Install flooring, cabinets, and other carpentry-related elements. - Ensure compliance with company safety guidelines and governmental regulations. - Perform repairs and maintenance as needed. - Collaborate with the team to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

- 3-5 years of professional carpentry experience. - Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, methods, and tools. - Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. - A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to teamwork. - Reliable transportation (preferably a truck or van for material transport). - Basic hand tools and small power tools are required; larger tools provided. - Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or vocational program is a plus.
