Journeyman Body Shop Technician

About the role
As a Journeyman Body Shop Technician, you will perform body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6-8 trucks, including pre/post repair washes, bodywork, replacement of parts, installs on new trucks, and other minor repairs. You will work alongside trained technicians in a well-resourced body shop, tackling challenging jobs with independence.
Responsibilities
- Perform body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6-8 trucks
- Conduct pre/post repair washes
- Replace parts and perform installations on new trucks
- Handle other minor repairs as assigned
- Work under minimal supervision on tough jobs
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience performing repairs on all makes and models of diesel trucks
- Self-motivation and ability to work with little or no supervision
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (CDL preferred but not required)
- Must have own tools
Pay
$32–41.58/hour (depending on experience)
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
