About the role

Under general direction, you will service commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems. As a Service Technician, you will support ThermalNetics’ customers by providing technical support and troubleshooting equipment problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial Check-Test-Start for various products we represent.
• Service products and equipment (not restricted to products we represent) on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer's location.
• Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
• Represent the company by serving as a direct customer contact.
• Provide training for troubleshooting and maintenance at customer sites.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Drive a company vehicle to job sites, with regular travel requirements and some overnight travel.
• Secure additional work through proactive recommendations based on equipment status and clients' needs.

Requirements

Associate's Degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning and 5+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility.

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Adhere to all ThermalNetics policies, including drug and alcohol screening and harassment policies.
