Responsibilities

• Work safely and effectively in a team environment
• Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
• Identify and troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs or adjustments to improve operation
• Aid in planning repair work using drawings, equipment manuals, or field research
• Perform precision repairs on mill equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and activities (lubrication and preventive maintenance plans) on mill equipment and building systems as required to ensure reliability of the operation
• Clean and assist with upkeep of the mill facility
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Consistent and predictable attendance
• Ability and willingness to cross-train into new jobs and skills
• Ability to work a manufacturing shift configuration (24/7)
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret drawings
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and repair
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of a CMMS
• Knowledge of Precision Maintenance techniques, mechanical and/or electrical and instrumentation
• Experience 4+ years as Millwright in production environment

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
