Job Summary

We are seeking a contracted journalist who wants to work with CrossPolitic Studios and the Fight Laugh Feast Network. The role is unpaid but offers exposure and the chance to write quality journalism from a biblical worldview. Key responsibilities include writing 1-2 pieces of journalism per month.

About the role

This position aligns with CrossPolitic’s mission to bring the clarity of the gospel into American culture through faith, culture, and politics. It provides a platform for journalists interested in covering politics from a Christian perspective.

Responsibilities

• Write 1-2 pieces of quality journalism for Fight Laugh Feast per month
• Collaborate with CrossPolitic Studios and other members of the Fight Laugh Feast Network
• Participate in CrossPolitic’s show if a piece is exceptional

Requirements

• Able to write from a biblical worldview
• Motivated and capable of taking risks
• Experience in journalism is preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Strong writing skills
• Ability to produce high-quality content
• Interest in political and cultural issues

Skills

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of journalistic ethics and standards
• Ability to research and fact-check
