Seven months ago, I had the unique privilege to start leading the AI and Data Science organization for Oncology Research and Development at AstraZeneca.

Responsibilities

• Advancing the development and implementation of multimodal foundation models and AI agentic frameworks for patient selection and clinical development.
• Driving proofs of concept in oncology R&D, enabling AI to reshape how we work and how our biomarkers are developed and delivered.
• Guiding the application of domain-specific super intelligence across R&D to accelerate drug discovery and transform clinical development.
• Contributing to the development of the next generation of therapies and regimens that have the potential to meaningfully improve patient outcomes.
