About the Role
The Jones Family Center is a gathering space for patients and families at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. This role involves welcoming families, setting up and cleaning up daily crafts, stocking crafts and snacks, sorting donations, supporting the Giving Library within the space, ensuring cleanliness, and providing a supportive environment for families during their hospital stay.
Responsibilities
- Welcome families to the center
- Set up and clean up daily crafts
- Stock crafts and snacks
- Sort donations
- Support the Giving Library
- Maintain cleanliness of the space
- Provide a supportive environment for families
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Detail-oriented and able to work autonomously
Schedule
Tuesday afternoons/evenings from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. for the Fall semester, with the opportunity to continue into the winter semester if schedule permits. Hours per week range from 8.0 to 20.0.
Modes of work (hybrid or remote) are at the discretion of the hiring department and subject to annual review.
