About the Filmmaker
Jonathan Bensimhon is an author and director whose 2023 documentary Rudy Gobert n°27 for CANAL+ became a major audience success. He is currently filming the sequel and editing a documentary on Djibril Cissé. After early recognition in music videos, he has collaborated with numerous French and international artists, developing a signature style marked by rhythmic storytelling, visual narrative, and artistic direction.
Bensimhon creates advertising campaigns, digital content, and brand films for companies, institutions, and organizations. His work is distinguished by a strong aesthetic sensibility combined with a deep focus on character and emotion. Passionate about life stories and extraordinary trajectories, he is now expanding into fiction with the basketball series HOOPS (8 x 26’).
