63-Bed Level III NICU, RPPIC Center
36 hours of pediatrician coverage
12-hour shifts (10 shifts/month for full-time)
Full sub-specialty back-up
EPIC EMR
Teaching opportunities with Pediatric Residents

Qualifications
- Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine through ABP, ABEM, or AOBEM with a completed PEM Fellowship.
- ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital at Broward Health is nationally recognized for its family-centered care for newborns, children, and adolescents. The hospital’s dedicated healthcare team includes pediatricians across multiple subspecialties and experienced pediatric nurses, all focused on meeting the unique needs of children and their families.
Located within Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, the hospital features a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, providing top-tier care for traumatic and emergency injuries. Children in western Broward County also have access to emergency services at Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital at Broward Health Coral Springs.
With 24/7 on-site emergency and trauma teams and specialized care teams on call around the clock, patients receive comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for a wide range of conditions.
