Radiology Partners is seeking a skilled, motivated General Pediatric Radiologist to join our section of 6 pediatric radiologists and 1 pediatric-specific procedural APP at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas.

About the Role

This on-site position offers a close-knit, collegial environment with over 90% pediatric cases and minimal adult general body responsibilities. The section provides specialized pediatric imaging, diagnostic interpretation, and cutting-edge interventional procedures to the children of Central Texas. Subspecialist support is available for IR procedures, neuroradiology, and musculoskeletal MRI.

Dell Children’s Medical Center is a 248-bed freestanding pediatric facility serving a 46-county area, housing the region’s only Level I pediatric trauma center and Level IV NICU. The practice features 24/7 support staff, robust IT infrastructure, and opportunities for leadership, education, and research.

Responsibilities

• Interpret pediatric imaging studies with over 90% pediatric caseload
• Provide diagnostic support for general body radiology as needed
• Participate in weekday daytime shifts (8a-5p) with a 1-hour protected lunch break
• Share weekend/holiday and evening call shifts (8a-4p or 4p-10:30p)
• Handle after-hours at-home pager call for pediatric fluoro procedures with a generous hourly callback stipend
• Serve as primary teaching faculty for the UT Dell Medical School radiology residency program
• Engage in leadership positions within the practice and at contract sites

Work Schedule

• Weekdays: 8a-5p general daytime shifts, including 1-hour protected lunch break
• Call/Holidays: 8a-4p weekend/holiday or 4p-10:30p evening shifts, shared evenly by the section
• After-hours: At-home pager call for pediatric fluoro procedures with generous hourly callback stipend
• Overnight pediatric diagnostic coverage provided by contracted teleradiology service

Requirements

• Board certified or Board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
• Completion of a pediatric radiology fellowship or CAQ in pediatric radiology
• Radiology fellows and residents are welcome to apply

Pay

The salary range for this position is $500,000–$1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
