Radiology Technologist Fulltime Weekends 7a-7p (5K Sign-On Bonus)

About the role

This is a technical position requiring training in the field of radiology technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations
• Assist radiologists and other physicians during fluoroscopic studies
• Perform exams in the operating room and the emergency room
• Demonstrate complete competency to operate all routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic equipment
• Perform exams in a timely manner so that rooms may be turned around
• Accurately perform all routine procedures, to include arthrograms, venograms, myelograms, lumbar puncture, sialograms, barium studies and any study requiring contrast injection
• Assess film quality and make corrections when necessary
• Complete all computer procedures as required for quality management and demonstrate knowledge of ordering, tracking and canceling exams
• Operate all portables and C-Arm equipment in the emergency room and surgery
• Maintain a repeat rate of less than 5%

Requirements

• Graduate of School of Radiological Technology
• Graduate from an approved two year radiology program
• American Registry of Radiology Technology
• Proficiency in radiological technology
