John T. Kuhl, MD, FAAD

Dr. John Kuhl is fascinated with skin disease, and he loves how every aspect of medicine can be found in dermatology. He grew up in Illinois and lived throughout the Midwest for education and training. He joined Carolina Dermatology of Greenville after finishing residency in 2007. He and his wife have found Greenville to be a wonderful community to raise their three children. Dr. Kuhl provides comprehensive dermatologic care for patients of all ages. He has expertise in the surgical removal of skin cancer and the medical treatment of skin disease. He enjoys getting to know patients while performing their full skin exams. He gives honest answers about skin care and treatments. He works together with his patients, helping them choose the path for their medical care. Dr. Kuhl has given national and international presentations on dermatology, and he has publications in several journals. He enjoys teaching and participates in dermatology education for medical students and residents. He donates his time to charity skin cancer screenings. He has volunteered at Camp Discovery, a summer camp for children with severe skin diseases. He enjoys family time at the lake (while covered in sunscreen) and is a competitive flat-water kayaker. His family also enjoys SC state parks, and they have become Ultimate Outsiders by visiting each one.
