John Deere Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair John Deere turf equipment
• Set up new John Deere turf equipment
• Diagnose, repair, and set up a variety of Allied turf equipment
• Travel to golf courses, complexes, and/or businesses to assist customers and address concerns as needed
• Work without immediate supervision for extended periods
• Maintain all equipment and ensure tools are in good working condition
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the shop and property maintenance
• Work with the Service Manager to ensure consistent workflow
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
• Help maintain and support safety policies
• Maintain paperwork documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Working conditions can vary throughout the day; it can be cold, cool, warm, hot, wet, dry, and/or dusty at times. Ability to read, write, and communicate with co-workers and managers is required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience on John Deere equipment
• Basic set of tools
• Good physical condition; ability to continuously lift up to 50 pounds routinely during the shift (heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, twisting, and pulling required daily)
• Current driver’s license and reliable means of transportation (must be insurable)
• Position is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen

Pay

Hourly position, full-time. Compensation: $30 - $38 DOE.
