Job Posting Title Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Principal Functional Responsibilities
- Completes and documents daily maintenance work orders.
- Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Participates in continuous improvement efforts by analyzing asset downtime and recommending maintenance tasks to eliminate defects.
- Works with other maintenance technicians to keep the shop in a clean, orderly state.
- Performs light fabrication and welding work to repair plant assets.
- Helps maintain spare parts inventory by assigning repair parts to work orders and recommending replacement parts to be ordered.
Essential Qualifications And Skills
- High School diploma or GED.
- Passionate about safety.
- Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
- Demonstrated ability to perform accurate work under the pressures of tight deadlines.
- Works effectively with little to no close supervision.
- Willing to work mandatory overtime as needed.
- Has a strong work ethic, is dependable and interested in being a solid contributor to the team.
- Has some mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of LOTO procedures.
- Has troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic controls and hydraulic.
- Interested in continuous improvement and learning.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- Welding experience.
Pay Range
$33.18/Hr. - $36.67 Hr.
