Responsibilities

  • Assist faculty members and institutional teams in research projects across management, social sciences, public policy, labour studies, sustainability, analytics, and allied disciplines.
  • Conduct literature reviews, secondary research, data collection, field coordination, interviews, and surveys.
  • Prepare research documents and maintain proper project records.
  • Support data cleaning, coding, analysis, visualization, report drafting, and case development.
  • Help prepare manuscripts, working papers, and other academic outputs.
  • Coordinate research meetings and monitor project timelines.
  • Assist with ethics-related documents, grants, research events, and stakeholder communication.
  • Maintain research databases, trackers, bibliographies, consent records, project files, and publication documents.
  • Prepare presentations, dashboards, research briefs, policy notes, and project reports for faculty, sponsors, and review teams.
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, academic integrity, and timely completion of all assigned work.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree or higher qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., management, economics, psychology, sociology, statistics, data science, public policy, commerce, engineering, humanities, or allied subjects).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in research, data analysis, academic projects, consulting research, policy research, or project coordination.
  • Strong research training may substitute for experience in suitable cases.
  • Prior experience with quantitative or qualitative research tools, academic writing, data analysis, or survey platforms is preferred.

Skills

  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with AI tools.
  • Knowledge of statistical tools, qualitative research software, or data visualization tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
  • Experience handling multiple research assignments and meeting deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, adaptability, professional conduct, and commitment to research ethics.
  • Professional coordination with faculty, students, staff, research partners, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Candidates must have strong written and spoken English skills.

Pay

Compensation will be at par with leading B-Schools, determined by qualification, experience, and suitability.
