Job Opportunity: MRB / Repair Design / Stress Engineer in Wichita, KS

About the role

Repair Design Engineer to support aerostructures non-conformance disposition, repair design, discrepant hardware evaluation, repair concepts, technical substantiation, and repair documentation. Stress Engineers with a strong understanding of design and hands-on experience working on non-conformances (MRB/repair dispositions).

Responsibilities

• Experience in Repair design with CATIA V5 and GD&T of Aero structures metallic and/or composite structures
• Engineering release/change control, repair substantiation
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, Design, and Certification teams

Requirements

• For Repair Engineers who have worked on aircraft primary & secondary structures who have experience working on shop floor
• Preferred: Fuselage, nacelle, pylon product knowledge

Qualifications

• Primary Structures: fuselage (body of aircraft), wings, empennage (tail section), nacelles (engine housings), flight control surfaces
• Secondary Structures: Fairings & Fillets, Cowlings, Control Surfaces, Doors, Winglets & Leading Edges

Location: Wichita, KS (Onsite from Day 1)
