The Horan Foundation is seeking a Compliance Intern within the Finance Department.

- Reporting to: Finance Manager
- Duration: 6 months
About the role
The Compliance Intern will support the Finance Manager in ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This includes reviewing financial transactions, maintaining compliance records, and assisting in the development of compliance procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the review and analysis of financial transactions to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and documentation.
- Support the development and implementation of new compliance procedures and policies.
- Participate in regular meetings with the Finance Manager to discuss compliance issues and progress.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated and proactive individual with a strong interest in compliance and finance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with financial systems and databases is a plus.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
