About the role

The College is seeking a permanent Pastoral Tutor with effect as soon as possible. The position is full time (37 hours per week), term-time (190 days) plus two weeks equivalent (74 hours) outside of normal term time hours. Relevant training will be provided. Job start date: ASAP. Advert closing date: Friday 25th September at 12 noon.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Pastoral Tutor to groups of students.
• Ensure excellent attendance and academic progress.
• Support students' social and personal development.
• Perform administrative duties.
• Handle administrative and pastoral matters relating to students in the group.
• Exercise a degree of supervision over academic progress of students.
• Foster quality relationships between student and tutor and between tutor and tutor group.

Schedule

Full-time, 37 hours per week; term-time (190 days) plus two weeks equivalent (74 hours) outside of normal term time.
