Asotin County is seeking a dedicated Job Developer to work with transition‑aged youth (ages 16–21) and individuals with disabilities, guiding them to build essential job skills, explore career opportunities, and gain paid work experience. The Job Developer serves as a vital connector between job seekers and local employers, matching individuals with employment opportunities that align with their strengths, interests, and aspirations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with transition‑aged youth and individuals with disabilities to develop job‑readiness skills.
• Assist clients in exploring diverse career options and securing paid work experiences.
• Identify and match employment opportunities with clients’ strengths, interests, and goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers, employees, and community partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create meaningful pathways to employment.
• Provide ongoing support and follow‑up to ensure successful job placements.

Pay

Competitive wage of $20.25 per hour under a collective bargaining agreement.
