Job Developer

Responsibilities

• Place participants supported through employment services programming in independent jobs with employers in the community.
• Develop employer contacts for placement of program participants, demonstrating to employers the operational, financial and social benefits of employing individuals receiving supported employment services with Seven Hills.
• Cold call and visit businesses in the community to create and strengthen new partnerships for employment.
• Network through collaborative organizations such as MassHire, Chambers of Commerce and others.
• Provide consult and communication to partner employers as primary point-of-contact, assuring a high standard of customer service, responsiveness and collaboration.
• Identify opportunities for job carving and person-centered placement solutions with employers and stakeholders.
• Aid job seekers with application, interviewing, pre-hire and onboarding processes in collaboration with collective Community Base Day & Employment Supports staff.
• Support case management of individual client files by providing required information, communication and consult to collective teams.
• Perform other functions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred
• Standard driver’s license – class C or class D1 – 3 years of related experience
