Our friendly, comfortable, and professional offices are located inside select retail locations. Job Description Optometrist responsibilities include analyzing vision tests, diagnosing potential vision imparities, and prescribing corrective lenses and eyeglasses. To be successful in this role, the optometrist should be detail oriented, able to treat patients with kindness and discretion, from young children to the elderly. Ultimately, you will ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and injuries. **This position is for fill-in or as needed coverage** Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision testsDiagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism, and glaucomaProvide personalized temporary and permanent solutions to visual imparities based on each patient’s specific case and medical historyPrescribe medications, eyeglasses, and contact lensesAdvise patients on proper eye care techniquesKeep updated and accurate medical records for all patients Advise patients on how to use and maintain their contact lenses Co-management of patients with local Ophthalmologists
