About the role

We are seeking a Noninvasive Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage in Florida. This is an inpatient role providing cardiology consults, follow‑ups, and discharges, with weekday and weekend coverage required.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexible; days per week may vary)
• One weekend per month, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Night call: 1–2 per week, 30‑minute response time

Responsibilities

• Complete daily cardiology consults
• Manage patient follow‑ups
• Complete discharges
• Provide inpatient cardiology coverage
• Supervise APPs as required
• Complete charting in real time or by the end of each shift

Requirements

• Board Certified
• ACLS required
• Active Florida medical license
• Comfortable with inpatient cardiology and APP supervision
• Experience with Cerner EMR
