Our client is a family‑oriented practice group that provides full‑service vision care for children and adults and is hiring an Optometrist for a fill‑in as needed opportunity. Our friendly, comfortable, and professional offices are located inside select retail locations.

Note: This position is for fill‑in or as‑needed coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests.
• Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism, and glaucoma.
• Provide personalized temporary and permanent solutions to visual impairments based on each patient’s specific case and medical history.
• Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses.
• Advise patients on proper eye care techniques.
• Maintain updated and accurate medical records for all patients.
• Advise patients on how to use and maintain their contact lenses.
• Co‑manage patients with local ophthalmologists.
