About the role
We are seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for ongoing locum tenens coverage across multiple emergency department locations in Indiana. Providers will be considered for coverage across all facilities based on system needs. This is a part‑time locum opportunity with 9‑hour shifts. Current need is for night coverage (6 p.m.–3 a.m. or 10 p.m.–7 a.m.), with preference for candidates able to cover 5‑7 day stretches. Average census is 15–18 patients per physician per day. Patient population is approximately 80% adult and 20% pediatric. Extensive specialty support is available, including stroke, STEMI, OB, surgical, and medical subspecialties. Transfers are generally limited to burn patients, complex pediatric cases, and select hand surgery cases. The EMR system is Epic.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM only)
- Active Indiana license preferred; candidates requiring licensure will be considered
- DEA required
- Indiana CSR required
- Stroke Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience

Schedule
