Join an established group. Experience in cardiothoracic surgery and vein harvesting preferred, but willing to train. The hospital has the largest structural heart program in the state. Located near clear water and white, powdery sand beaches, less than one hour to Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and Pensacola Beach. Growing city of 185,000 population with big-city amenities, great selection of restaurants and upscale shopping, option to live on the water or at the country club with beautiful subdivisions, home to some of the top-20 public and private schools in the state.

Responsibilities

• Managing 300 cases annually (hearts & valves)
• Being in the OR
• Harvesting veins
• Rounding on patients
• Taking call with a flexible schedule (99% taken by phone)
