Overview

We are seeking an Endocrinologist for locum tenens coverage in Pennsylvania. This is a part‑time opportunity offering 1–2 weeks of consistent coverage per month with a combination of outpatient endocrinology clinic and overnight/weekend call.

• EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level: II

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient endocrinology clinic services.
• Handle inpatient/outpatient call duties, including overnight and weekend coverage.
• See approximately 18–20 patients per day, varying between new and established patients.
• Review test results and manage prescription refills, including when not onsite.
• Respond to approximately 10 calls per weeknight/weekend.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified in Endocrinology.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license.
• DEA registration.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• CSR not required.

Schedule

• 1–2 weeks of coverage per month.
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM clinic hours.
• Saturday–Sunday weekend call, 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM (24‑hour coverage).
