Job Coach - Per Diem

About the role

Join Project Genesis, Inc. as a Job Coach / Employment Specialist to empower individuals with disabilities through the R.I.S.E. (Reaching Individual Success & Employment) program. You’ll provide one-on-one support in community job settings, helping clients develop workplace skills, gain independence, and build confidence for lasting success.

Responsibilities

• Teach and model workplace skills that lead to independence and job success.
• Assess abilities and strengths, tailoring training to each person’s unique learning style.
• Coach communication and teamwork skills for success on the job.
• Develop creative, individualized training plans using adaptive tools or multisensory techniques.
• Document progress and collaborate with Program Managers to ensure each client thrives.
• Celebrate victories — big and small — as clients reach milestones toward independence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 1+ year of experience in human services, job coaching, mentoring, or education.
• OR Bachelor’s degree and willingness to complete our training program.
• Be 18 years or older.
• Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
• Be flexible and ready to travel to clients’ workplaces within your local area.
