About the role
The role involves supporting individuals with disabilities in developing and refining their skills for employment. Job coaches collaborate with coordinators and therapists to provide on-site job support, accommodations, and data management.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site job support to facilitate student independence
- Maintain accurate student data
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADL)
- Monitor and intervene to ensure completion of ADL tasks
- Auxiliary support for data collection and implementation of Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)
- Transport students occasionally when qualified
Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License (if transporting students)
- High school diploma or equivalent and successfully pass a local assessment
- Associate or Bachelor Degree (preferred)
- Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred
Qualifications
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Crisis Prevention Institute Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of disabilities preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Schedule
Full-time, 185-day calendar position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work may vary depending on assignments. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required.
