Job Details Description Job Coach Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 Location: Baltimore, MD We are a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities in meaningful employment and daily work activities. We’re looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Job Coach / Employment Support Specialist to provide individualized coaching, skill development, and ongoing supports to employees with disabilities. This role is ideal for someone who values person-centered services, dignity through work, and long-term employment success. You’ll partner with employees, supervisors, families, and managers so that each individual can perform their job duties successfully and reach their personal employment goals. You’ll also help keep our programs high quality and compliant through accurate disability documentation, eligibility evaluations, and adherence to applicable regulations. What You Will Do Coach and build skills Provide one-on-one, strengths-based job coaching and skills trainingSupport individuals in learning job tasks, building workplace routines, and increasing independenceObserve work performance and recommend strategies, accommodations, or trainingMeet regularly with employees and supervisors to review goals, progress, and supportsAssist individuals interested in advancement, additional training, or job changes Support worksites and programs Conduct regular site visits for coaching, support, and follow-upCollaborate with project managers and supervisors to promote successful outcomesRepresent the agency with community and contract site partnersGuide supervisors on working effectively with employees with disabilitiesHelp resolve workplace challenges through coaching, training, and problem-solving Collaborate with families and stakeholders Communicate with individuals, families, supervisors, and internal team members about goals and supportsEducate individuals and families on employment supports and available resourcesContact healthcare providers or other professionals to clarify documentation when needed Train and stay current Train work sites on documentation requirements and support practicesMaintain working knowledge of government regulations on employment of people with disabilities, and of AbilityOne regulations (as applicable)Participate in meetings, trainings, and special projects as assignedBuild positive working relationships with coworkers, customers, and partners What You Bring A strong commitment to disability inclusion, respect, and person-centered servicesCompassion, patience, and professionalism when supporting individuals with diverse needsThe ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a teamStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsComfort with administrative and documentation tasks Physical And Travel Requirements Ability to travel frequently to work sites, both in-state and out-of-stateAbility to walk, stand, and navigate varied work environmentsAbility to lift, carry, or move up to 25 lbs. as neededAbility to work with employees on various shifts, including overnight Preferred (not Required) Bilingual (Spanish-speaking)Sign language interpreting experience Why You’ll Love Working Here: Medical plan starting at $13.80/mo.
