Job Captain, Architecture

Summary We are looking a skilled Job Captain responsible for supporting and executing the day-to-day production of architecture construction documents for retail and/or restaurants. You will serve as a valued team member ensuring accuracy and timeliness of client projects. Responsibilities Uses AutoCAD to produce detailed architectural construction documents for multiple roll out locationsPerforms as the main point of contact for project drawing deliverables and consultant coordinationRecognizes potential problems and recommends solutionsReports to Project Managers and collaborates within team to capture accurate informationParticipates in appropriate site surveys although much travel is not anticipatedReviews (with Project Manager) any adaptations needed to allow design fit within existing structureEnsures compliance with applicable codes, standards and client requirementsMaintains required documentation of all projects and drawings generatedEnsures proper back up procedures are carried out to reduce lost dataMonitors quality, accuracy and consistency of documents, details and any graphicsAssists in the development of standards that will ensure document quality and accuracy Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design or comparable work experiencePrevious experience developing construction documents for retail and/or restaurant environments is a plusProficiency in the application of architectural design standards, practices, techniques and conceptsProficiency in AutoCADRevit experience is a plusSolid time management skillsStrong organization skillsExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated ability to maintain required performance level in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlinesMust have exceptional standards for quality and a strong attention to detailMust be able to work autonomously, as well as within a team Location: Remote
