Job Captain - Architect (6-9 years experience)

Responsibilities
- Learn Omgivning standards and take responsibility for the implementation of standards within the office and in projects
- Independently work through significant architectural design problems and methods to develop solutions and options with the project team
- Help execute and manage deliverables and delegate production to staff with assistance from Project Managers
- Serve as a resource for peers and junior staff
- Manage the Revit Model and project documentation
- Close collaboration with Project Managers to maintain project timeline, deliverable deadlines, task delegation, consultant and client meeting coordination, and development of design and detailing
- Participate and assist in in-house committees as desired
Requirements
- BArch through an accredited program
- 6-9 years of applicable, professional work experience for Job Captain
- Revit expertise in an office setting required
- Bluebeam Revu proficiency preferred
- Additional Proficiencies (Sketchup, Rhino, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, hand sketching) are welcome
- Experience with consultant coordination
- Ability to lead or coordinate design and technical work of the internal team (depending on project size and complexity)
- Ability to help solve problems using critical thinking, research, and building codes
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Highly collaborative, not afraid to ask questions, and eager to learn
- Experience in both existing and new construction is a plus
Pay
Compensation Is Commensurate With Experience. Includes a benefits package with Health insurance coverage. Dental, Vision, and Life insurance optional. 401k after one year of employment.
