Responsibilities
- Daily processing of JIT
- Motivate teams to ensure all JIT inventory is organized, accurate, and received in the most timely and cost-effective manner
- Oversee production and performance while setting the bar for accuracy, efficiency, and quality of process while keeping the JIT area organized, structured, and clean
- Review electronic documents, communicate expectations, report on critical numbers, and work directly with stakeholders to align the team on any potential pivots needed to satisfy daily goals
- Properly train resources in all areas of the department, as well as work with cross-functional departments to implement process improvements
- Developing relationships with various vendors is a must, with a heavy emphasis on cross-functional collaboration with fulfillment to resolve issues and create initiatives that improve the operation
- Works to improve team performance through huddles, feedback, and other communication methods
- Acts as a representative of the team, reports and triages issues appropriately
Qualifications and Skills
- One year of Distribution or Warehouse Supervisory experience is required
- Exhibits reliability and punctuality with a team-focused positive attitude
- Utilizes various WMS/ERP software to receive products in the correct locations
- Proficient with modern software, including Google Suite and MS Office
- Forklift / Powered equipment experience is a plus but not required as we will certify you
- Able to lift 60+ lbs.; able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Automotive product knowledge is a plus but not required
