The Opportunity and Career Path

This is a temporary 12-month specialized contract position designed to establish the foundation of our Jira enterprise footprint. We are looking for a candidate who wants to grow with us. This role is structured with a clear path toward a permanent, full-time position within the college, with the next permanent recruitment cycle anticipated for Spring 2027 and a potential permanent start date of June 1, 2027. As the Jira Enterprise Administrator, you will move beyond simple ticket management to provide specialized technical administration and optimization. As our Jira Cloud footprint expands across campus, you will manage the growing complexity of the platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and optimized to meet the diverse needs of various campus stakeholders.

$30-$33 an hour

Conditions of Employment

This is an on-going pool of qualified individuals interested in part-time, temporary non-tenure track instructional opportunities at Truckee Meadows Community College. These opportunities are part-time only and will not be continued beyond the ending date. These opportunities may be terminated at will, at any time, for any reason, without notice; the appointee has no appeal rights. Temporary assignments are not eligible for consideration for tenure as part of the assignment.
