About the role

You will lead the sales efforts for Audacy's portfolio of radio stations, podcasts, and digital platforms. Your primary responsibility is to drive revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies and strong relationships with advertisers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to increase advertising revenue across multiple platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand Audacy's market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to align on sales goals and strategies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and consumer behavior to inform sales strategies and product development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in sales, preferably within the audio and/or digital media industries.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building successful client relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for audio and digital media, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing a team of sales professionals.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

$150,000 - $200,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
