I’m delighted to share that I have been promoted to Conjoint Associate Professor at UNSW Medicine and Health. It has been an absolute whirlwind since joining The Kinghorn Cancer Centre, St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney as staff specialist in head and neck cancer/early phase clinical trials and UNSW Conjoint Senior Lecturer.

Responsibilities

  • Shaping clinical and translational research across drug development, cancer survivorship, and mentorship programs
  • Mentoring UNSW PhD students through initiatives like the Franklin Women mentorship program and ESMO ESMOLDP
  • Building a translational ecosystem in Australia that connects patient-centric early phase cancer drug development with novel biomarkers including proteomics
  • Focusing on improving outcomes for patients through collaborative efforts

Qualifications

  • UNSW academic home for almost a decade across four degrees (BMed Hons MD PhD)
  • Staff specialist in head and neck cancer/early phase clinical trials at The Kinghorn Cancer Centre, St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney
  • UNSW Conjoint Senior Lecturer
