About the role
The successful candidate will lead the JH Boys Basketball program, fostering a culture of excellence in both skill development and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive basketball training program for players.
- Manage team logistics including scheduling practices, games, and travel arrangements.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to player development.
- Attend all games and practices to provide support and guidance to the coaching staff and players.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or related field.
- Proven experience as a high school basketball coach.
- Strong understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Experience with budget management and facility maintenance.
Skills
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of player development techniques and strategies.
