JEWELRY/SALES SPECIALIST

Sales professionals achieve personal sales targets by turning customers' meaningful moments into celebrations through an approachable, special, and lasting fine jewelry experience. The role involves engaging customers to make products relevant, exciting, and accessible while providing a refreshing and uplifting shopping experience.

We provide training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and skills to help sales professionals succeed.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior and deliver excellent customer service
• Achieve personal sales targets (e.g., credit applications and protection plan attachment rates)
• Promote Diamond Parties and special events with every customer
• Collaborate with teammates toward store goals, fostering a positive working atmosphere
• Build life-long emotional connections with customers through clienteling
• Provide product knowledge, features, and benefits when presenting merchandise
• Advise customers on jewelry quality, cuts, value, and gem selection
• Assist customers in selecting mountings and settings for gems
• Attend required monthly meetings
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, process payments, and obtain credit authorization
• Inspect and clean customers' jewelry
• Provide estimates for jewelry and watch repairs
• Perform watch battery replacements and watch band adjustments
• Follow receiving and processing procedures
• Display merchandise and promotional materials according to corporate plans
• Perform opening and closing procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedures Guide
• Maintain store cleanliness (e.g., vacuuming, cleaning displays, washing windows)
• Ensure safety and security by following Loss Prevention and Security policies
• Participate in inventory processes and complete case counts
• Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Commitment to excellence, growth, and providing a refreshing shopping experience
• Goal-oriented, sales-driven, and passionate about success
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Maintain confidentiality
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
