Education: Bachelor's degree in Gemology, Business, or a related field preferred. GIA certification or equivalent gemological training is highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in jewelry buying, appraisal, or a related field. Proven track record of successful negotiations and purchases.
Skills: Strong knowledge of gemstones, metals, and jewelry craftsmanship. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in using gemological tools and software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Personal Attributes: High ethical standards and integrity. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Passion for jewelry and a keen eye for quality and detail.
