Jet Press Operator - Previous experience w Halm Press / Super Jet

About the role

The purpose of this job is to print envelopes that meet company quality standards while maintaining optimum speeds and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Read entire work order
• Pull correct stock for order or mix ink for order
• Set up 3" or 6" press to run order with correct plates, stock, and ink
• Position print image on envelope per proof and match color to PMS book, running 1 up, 2 up, or 4 up
• Have someone else check work for position and color before running order
• Package envelopes back into cartons and label cartons for shipping with furnished labels
• Fill out production paperwork and pull samples as directed
• Identify machine malfunctions, troubleshoot, and correct in a timely manner
• Notify a supervisor promptly when machines need maintenance/repairs
• Perform routine maintenance and general repairs

Working Conditions

This role requires standing for most of the shift, repetitive hand and wrist motions, reaching with hands and arms, regular lifting of up to 25 pounds, and working overtime as needed.
