About the Role
The Jeep Market Manager is a dynamic and strategic professional responsible for shaping the strategy for Jeep, primarily focused on markets outside the United States and Canada. This individual will serve as the Single Point of Contact for the responsible markets, leveraging internal and external data trends and key insights while working cross-functionally. This role supports product and brand launches, go-to-market tactics, and international programs. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with automotive industry experience and the ability to analyze simple and complex data sets to streamline processes for global markets.
Responsibilities
Market Management
- Main point of contact for assigned regions and leader for weekly/monthly regional reviews
- Regional performance responsibility, including target and forecast alignment
- Segment analysis and opportunity prospecting; partner with business units/regions/countries on strategic projects (e.g., expansion/growth opportunities)
- Regional car flow management
- Marketing and auto show support
- Launch readiness and execution support
- Customer experience and regional support
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure strong regionalization and cooperation
- Combine internal and external data trends and competitive actions to identify opportunities for sales growth, market share, and profitability
- Share recommendations with senior leadership to drive performance improvements
- Provide expertise in cross-platform solutions for comprehensive use cases
Product Integration
- Handle regional product requests to assist in product planning, leveraging competitive insights, trends, and data analysis
- Serve as market expert on needs, including testing, regulations, and homologation
- Key product governance for international/Mexico product actions
- Develop product content strategy based on regional regulations and policies
- Manage trim walks, product content, and regulations for responsible markets
- Oversee export markets receiving U.S.-sourced vehicles
- Follow international configurations for responsible markets
- Present regional product requests and create product grids to support international requests
- Identify market definitions, needs, and high-level business cases
- Provide commercial inputs and business cases, including regional volume inputs for North America-based buzz models
- Support lifecycle planning, including model year actions, regulatory requirements, and buzz model plans
- Determine feature/content needs and support the International Sync Plan
- Conduct product research and participate in bi-weekly touchpoints with Jeep Planning to share updates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Brand, Sales & Marketing, Product, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales within an automotive environment or 5+ years of marketing, product planning, or product strategy in any industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced marketing environment
- Proven track record of profitably developing and executing data-driven strategies and analytics
- Ability to formulate strategies and brand value propositions using data sets aligned with business goals
- Hands-on experience delivering measurable results
- Expertise in planning, prioritizing, and goal-setting, including managing multiple projects and assessing urgency
- Familiarity working in global environments with a successful cross-cultural track record
- Experience in flat organizations with lean resources, requiring strong cross-functional collaboration
- Deep passion for the automotive industry
