JBC-Breaks Man 2nd Shift

About the Role

To learn and perform all jobs within the department to relieve employees during breaks. Operate all department equipment and perform various tasks to keep the production line running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate all equipment in the department to ensure continuous production during employee breaks.
• Perform all phases of the mixing operation, including locating and identifying ingredients, measuring and weighing processes, and reading batch tickets.
• Fill 20-40 pound bags with product and stack them on pallets (25-50 bags per pallet).
• Lift hot 25-pound loaves of bread from the conveyor and place them on racks.
• Lift cool 25-pound loaves of bread from racks and place them on a conveyor for grinding.
• Operate all department equipment as specified.
• Perform department sanitation tasks, including dry cleaning and wet washing.
• Carry out other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly lift, bend, push, and pull.
• Mathematical and problem-solving skills to perform the job successfully.

Work Environment

The job is performed in production areas with exposure to strong aromas, airborne dust particles from ingredients, and the presence of or operation of machinery.

Pay

Starting at $20.21 - $25.27 per hour.
