JBATA- Application Developer

Target starting pay: $30.00/hour. Actual starting pay will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for annual discretionary cash bonus (target: 10%) and annual discretionary restricted stock units bonus (target: 10%). These discretionary bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based on achievement of performance goals and targets.

About the role

This on-site position is located at our headquarters in San Diego, California. It is an exciting opportunity to join a unique and immersive rotational program as a first step in your technology career. This full-time program provides multi-software platform exposure, focusing on expanding knowledge and real-life application.

As part of the Application Developer Rotational Program, you will join the Axos Consumer Information Technology Group and work on cutting-edge software-driven solutions. Throughout the program, you will rotate into different complementary areas within the Developer track, gaining enterprise-level solution skills. Initial rotations will focus on both front-end and back-end software development.

Responsibilities

• Create robust customer experiences within web and email using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Develop custom interfaces with the .NET framework
• Design, develop, and maintain applications/solutions with low-code platforms
• Configure workflows that utilize optical character recognition technology to automate document information capture
• Work within document management systems to enhance storage and access of digital content
• Analyze code for problem resolution and enhancements
• Develop and test technology solutions to improve business processes
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within various software platforms
• Utilize business tools and analyze current methods to determine efficiency gaps and areas for enhancement
• Assist with discovery and documentation of business requirements for new solutions
• Build and maintain Visualforce/Aura components and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Interface with external REST/SOAP systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• 1+ years of related experience
• Familiarity with back-end and front-end technologies, including Java, C#, SQL (SQL Server), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APIs, and object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of database modeling
