Qualified applicant must hold a valid/registered Illinois teaching license. This is a "Schedule A" additional duty position.
Responsibilities
- Attends jazz rehearsals and performances from October until March
- Collaborates with other directors and helps drive existing jazz curriculum
- Discusses rehearsal plans with other directors
Requirements
- Valid/registered Illinois teaching license
- Communication skills
- Ability to build relationships
- Energetic and enthusiastic demeanor
- Previous experience working with students in a jazz setting
Schedule
2 afternoons per week, with additional performances throughout the season.
