About the role

We are seeking a Principal AI - Software Engineering professional with 7 to 10 years of experience in full-stack JavaScript development. This is a long-term contract position located in Bothell, WA, and requires onsite work. Local candidates only. Hands-on coding interviews will be conducted at the client location.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and architect full-stack applications using JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, and React Native.
  • Design and implement AI-driven solutions using GenAI, LLM Models, MCP, Vector DB, RAG, Vertex AI, and Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., NGA, ADK, LangChain/LangGraph).
  • Work with cloud technologies (GCP, Azure, AWS) and tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
  • Implement LLM observability, analytics, evaluations, testing, and annotation using tools like LangSmith, LangFuse, Streamlit, or Arize.
  • Develop and maintain microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and caching solutions.
  • Utilize containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Perform unit and functional testing using tools like JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, or Postman.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to other engineers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in full-stack software development, including front-end, back-end, and database technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, and React Native; Python is a plus.
  • Strong experience with GenAI, LLM Models, Vector DB, RAG, Vertex AI, and Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain/LangGraph).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
  • Familiarity with LLM observability, analytics, and evaluation tools (e.g., LangSmith, LangFuse, Arize).
  • Strong experience with databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and caching technologies.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Maven).
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have skills

  • Google CCAI platform (DialogFlow), Vertex AI, GraphQL, BigQuery, Conversation Graph, or LLM as Judge.
