Javascript Developer (Locals & W2 Only)

About the role

Location: McLean, VA. Duration: Long Term. The role requires enterprise development experience, Agile background, and adherence to software engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production‑grade applications using object‑oriented programming principles and database technologies.
• Build enterprise‑level solutions within iterative development methodologies and Agile frameworks.
• Apply industry‑standard development practices including automated testing frameworks, continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and configuration management tools.
• Work with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python; develop modern web applications using Angular 16 or later (moving to Angular 21), RxJS, Ngx Formly, and monorepo architecture.
• Develop comprehensive end‑to‑end tests using Playwright with TypeScript, plus integration and performance testing.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment workflows using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
• Design and implement event‑driven AWS architectures leveraging SQS/SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, RDS, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, ECS, AWS Bedrock, and Amazon OpenSearch.

Requirements

• Proven track record of designing and deploying production‑grade applications using object‑oriented programming principles and database technologies.
• Hands‑on experience building enterprise‑level solutions within iterative development methodologies and Agile frameworks.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard development practices including automated testing frameworks, continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and configuration management tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience with Angular 16 or later versions for modern web application development, RxJS, Ngx Formly, monorepo architecture (moving to Angular 21).
• Ability to develop comprehensive end‑to‑end tests using Playwright with TypeScript, along with integration and performance testing capabilities.
• Strong experience implementing continuous integration and deployment workflows using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
• Expertise in designing and implementing event‑driven architectures leveraging AWS services (SQS/SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, RDS, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, ECS, AWS Bedrock, Amazon OpenSearch).

Qualifications

• AWS professional certifications (preferred).
