Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Core Java and Spring Boot Microservices.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in architecture, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and QA teams.
- Follow Agile development methodologies and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to CI/CD implementation and application modernization initiatives.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in designing and developing enterprise-grade applications using Java technologies.
- Proven experience building cloud-ready, distributed systems and microservices.
Required Technical Skills
- Core Java
- Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, OOP concepts, Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, Exception Handling, JVM, and Performance Tuning.
- Experience with Java 8+ features including Streams, Lambda Expressions, and Functional Programming.
- Spring Ecosystem
- Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security, Spring Cloud Microservices Design and development of Microservices-based architectures.
- REST API design and implementation.
- Service communication patterns, resiliency, fault tolerance, and distributed system concepts.
- Databases
- Strong experience with relational databases such as: Oracle, SQL Server.
- Expertise in SQL, schema design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- DevOps & Tool
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
- Exposure to API Gateway and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms.
- Knowledge of security best practices and OAuth/JWT authentication.
